Some Words of Encouragement...

The other day I got a card from one of my supporters. She's gone through a rough time as her legs have been amputated (a few times since December) and she's selling her house and wondering where to live next (a retirement centre or in son's house). She describes it so matter-of-fact, no self-pitty or discouragement. She says that she is not sure what to do but leaves it in the Lord's hands. And she says that she had considered my financial reqest, and was sending the cash she has. I was so blown away that as she walked through this trial, God was her strength and Lord!

This past week I was re-formatting my update, and wanted to add pictures with my stories to add depth to the words. I was quite frustrated, and have been over the past months, that I have so few pictures of ministry and especially including me in the photo. It seems that the only time we get out our camera is when the 'work' is done and it's time to 'play'. And when I don't have my own camera, I am dependant on pictures posted by others.

Desperate for things to change, I thought, I really wish I had a camera so that I could be more effecient month after month. A prayer from my heart, for my benefit and the benefit of my ministry partners, which was answered two days later. A friend and co-worker has an old Canon camera that he's getting rid of, which he offered to anyone interested, through facebook. So amazing!
