I was blessed to join the campus staff and students at the Eastern Winter Conference. I am spurred to be an instrument of change in students' lives when meeting the Montreal ministry, as I continue my support. As the band lead us in worship through French songs many people were so encouraged, especially the Quebec staff and students. Please continue praying that the Lord continue to redeem the Francophone population. I found it a challenge, during the conference, because I am not yet campus staff and therefore did not take on full responsibilities. And yet, the Lord's promises are assured and I look forward to the day when I am fully supported.
During the Eastern and Western Conference's afternoon of Outreach there were:
- 1101 spiritual conversations
- 379 gospel presentations
- 25 indicated decisions to follow Christ as Lord and Saviour
- 4000 Jesus DVD's given within a Muslim neighbourhood
Throughout the conferences there were:
- 205 graduating students indicate an interest in full-time ministry with Campus for Christ
- 19 graduating students had a staff interview during this week
